Urezza Famos is a business and cultural consultant, a publisher and a mother. She is the editor of the “piz” magazine: the magazine for the Engadin and the southern valleys of Grisons. She also heads Hotel Piz Tschütta in Vnà, which has a particular cultural focus. She grew up in the Lower Engadin and lives in Sent with her family. After studying Business Administration in Zurich, she headed the family business from 1986 to 2003, with an interest in tourism, trade and media. She graduated in 2004 with a Postgraduate diplomma in Arts/Cultural Management from the University of Basel. Urezza Famos is active as a board member of various cultural institutions. She is co-founder of Fundaziun NAIRS and has been its chairman since its inception in 2005, until the summer of 2011 (with a brief interruption in 2009). She is a board member of the Green Liberal Party of the canton of Grisons.
