Christina Della Giustina is lecturer of Fine Art at the University-of-the-Arts Utrecht and PhD candidate at Slade School-of-Fine Art, UCL London. She studied Philosophy, Art History, Linguistics at the University of Zürich and Fine Art and Political Theory at the Jan-van-Eyck Academy Maastricht. Her trans-disciplinary practice includes work with audio, video, light, performance, composition, drawing and writing. The work translates scientific data into artistic notations. The resulting performances re-create the site where the data comes from as a sensory event, generating ways of being with ourselves and the world. Christina’s work has been shown internationally at the Woburn Research-Centre London, Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, Gallery Soledad-Senlle Amsterdam, Montreux-Jazz-Festival, Academy Gallery Utrecht, Netherlands-Institute-for-Media Art NIMK, Shanghai Contemporary Art, International-Art-Triennial Lublin, Botanical Garden Zürich and Kunsthalle Zürich.
